Will my family have to pay more?
With a pre-paid funeral plan, you fix the cost of the funeral so your family won’t need to pay a penny more. Anything not included in your plan, like catering and flowers, will need to be paid for separately.
How do pre-paid funeral plan prices compare to a funeral today?
Pre-paid funeral prices are guaranteed not to change. They include many items that are likely needed at the time of need. The price of a traditional funeral service today increases regularly, and the starting price does not include many possible items that may be required. A funeral plan protects you against funeral inflation.
Why does a pre-paid funeral plan cost more?
A pre-paid funeral is a fixed price for the plan you choose, so will never increase. The at-need price will go up every year.
What’s the difference between a pre-paid funeral plan and an at-need funeral?
A pre-paid funeral means your funeral and ceremony are planned in advance. At-need funerals are planned at the time of death.
What is a direct cremation?
A direct cremation is an unattended cremation. You will know the date of the cremation in advance so you can celebrate the life of the loved one as you choose. Direct cremation services are an affordable alternative to a traditional funeral. There is no formal service at the crematorium and no mourners present. Many families and close friends choose to hold a separate memorial service or remembrance event in line with their loved one’s wishes.
What happens if I pass away before full payment is made?
Our caring team takes care of all the arrangements with utmost respect. This includes the collection of the deceased person in a private vehicle, the provision of a simple coffin, completion of all the necessary paperwork and the cremation itself.
Afterwards, we can hand deliver or return the ashes for you to scatter ashes or keep in line with your family’s wishes.
